Default Vortech tuning

I'm thinking of getting to get someone with some experience to tune my car. Only problem is that I'm having a little bit of a problem finding someone that knows what they are doing. I'm kind of looking for someone that has tuned that kit before. I've called a few places and they have no clue. Called one guy that has done a Vortech on a G35 and he wanted $1500 YIKES!!!!!!! I'm from Ontario Canada and am willing to drive hmmmmmm say 4hrs to 6hrs to find someone that really knows what they are doing. Oh and that doesn't want to charge me $1500 LOL. I guess if I can't find someone I'll have to di it myself, I did the install just am not to sure I can handle the tuning.

Thanks

I'm sure someone will be able to lead you in the right direction, but to go a little OT, how do you like your resonated test pipes? any rasp, I am thinking about getting some.... and also have the injen SES exhaust with vortech. Thanks. It will be a beast when you tune it

I really like the test pipes. It gives it a little bit of a deeper sound. I drove through a long tunnel the other day and WOW it sounded great! But I do get some rasp when WOT passing 4000 RPM.

Check out Vortech's web site and do a search on Canadian dealers. There are plenty in Ontario who could help you I'm sure.

I'm having mine done in two weeks by a company in Quebec City. It will be their first Vortech install and the first time they work on a 350Z so I'm a bit worried however they've done many turbo kits and some Paxton SC (who is now owned by Vortech I'm told) on some pick ups and Mustangs so I guess things should go well.

If Avalon Racing is close to you, I would go with then from what I have heard. They have done a bunch of Vortech installs and tunes. I believe they are in Londonberry, New Hampshire(?).
