anyone using o2 clamp?
Anyone using an O2 clamp where the oem O2 signals are forced to read lean when under boost to force the ECU out of closed loop operation?
Under light/middle throttle, my car seems to stay in closed loop even though I'm seeing some boost. Right now, I have a circuit to audibly warn me when under boost and running lean but I'm thinking a O2 clamp would be even better.
This should result in a more consistent fuel inj. pwm from the ECU. Otherwise, the ECU might trim fuel if it thinks you're running rich (when still in closed loop but into boost and getting more fuel)...
thanks,
rob
