Yeah, how about cams and springs for 999. One of my clients is a foundry and I know how they price cam blanks for v8 motors. These are just blanks and have to be machined into the finished product but 1200 bones for cams for the vq is just ridiculous.

His price is well below the "normal advertised" price. I honestly can't go much lower, as he might be buying them at a different price than our company.

I want you guys to get the best pricing possible, so try giving CZ a call and seeing what he can do.

When people shop with our company, they find very low prices, but more importantly, a strong knowledege base, and lots of good customer service. This is one of the reasons that 90% of the items we sell have been tried on our shop car, or a customer's car, prior to selling them on the website.

Best I can do is $1290 shipped for both the springs and cam....if we get 3-5 people onboard.

I personally don;t think we should beat up someone (read sharif) cause he is trying to get our sale. And 1290 is not a bad price considering from factory its 1450. BUt knowing that Other companies have them for the 1290 price everyday...leads me to my next point, read below

On the flip side I totally agree with G35. Group buys are meant to help us poor schmucks out here in the real world save some money by using that ole proverbial hyperbole "UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE PAY MORE". If thats his best offer, then we keep looking and find someone else. WE should have atleast 10 people for the gb. I will talk to my buddies at nissan and JWT and see if there is anything they are willing to do.

ALso stated earlier in this forum, I don't know how many people are in the OC or San Diego COunties that are in on the GB. BUt if there are I can talk to a local shop down here and try getting the cams installed for 600-700 dollars(this is my goal...can I do it depends on your response). Thats another 600+ in savings. I'm sure if I get two or three cars in there thats 2100 for 4-8(for all the cars to get done not just one) shop days.... not bad

999 just cams, why don;t you want to put the springs in? they are two hundred bucks and it will allow you to go up to 7500 rpm...but someone can correct me if I am wrong if the rpm # is wrong. You'll get the most out of the cams with the springs. PLsu doing both at one time just means you won;t have to go back and do it again and spend more money on install.

not sure about shipping I haven't talked to my buddy about that yet, he did mention though that he can ship but not 100% positivge if that will incurr extra cost ro not. I would assume you pay for shipping at this price.

FOr everyone out there...check it out: Shipping...assume its your responsibility for now until I get the word from the supplier(MOSSY NISSAN OCEANSIDE) if they will ship to you. Price is strictly for the cams AND spring(shims included). If you only want the springs or the cams Pm me. Maybe you will get lucky and someone wants the other half of the GB.

ALSO as far as install goes for the people who would like to get it done here in san diego. The possibility exists that I can honor the other offer of 650 for install. But I deffinately need to know how many people are interested in doing the install on top. With the install through me it seems as if we have a savings of close to $800-1300 give or take. Typical install is 1200-1700 for cams, springs and shims.
