Default Any TT owners relocated the MAS & BOV?

I spoke to a Subaru tuner who visited Japan recently and he says he picked up some "tricks". He suggests moving the airflow sensor into the boost-pipe and relocating the blowoff valve as close to the turbo as possible.

This is supposed to give you more accurate inputs. Does it make sense and has anybody here done it?

Thanks,

Bruce

somebody knowledgeable should chime in here.. I've also seen some applications where the BOV is placed on the fmic itself. OEM turbo applications almost all have the MAS placed right after the air intake BEFORE the turbo but then the Z has only ONE MAS and the only way to put the MAS before the turbos in a TT application is the way JWT does it.

I'll chime in for Peter. It is not a good idea to do this. You should run your dual-ball-bearing water-cooled twin turbo kit the way APS recommends.

It is not fair to make joke on someone who is not able to reply in this place.

Hope I don't get banned by saying this.

Would you like me to forward this to Peter through PM on motoring? Peter knows that he repeats this over and over, i'm sure he'd say he's heard it before.
