Default R4 program.... ANYONE HAVE IT????

Hi guys,

I'm building up my Z since 4 month from now... sound system upgrade, V1 Veilside bodykit, Clutch Master clutch, custom Cat Back, and now at the end of all the Vortech!

Yesterday we all finish the vortech instalation, and i was sooo happy to start up the engine after 4 long months! The engine starting well, but after some rev. we notice with deception that the rev limiter cut off at 2500 RPM!!!!!!!! That just suck! Guys I cant wait... we call Vortech on friday afternoon to have some suport... but the answer we got is that's the problem come from the controler box made by SPLIT SECOND (www.splitsec.com) and we need a R4 program to reset it. When we call, the shop was allready close and today too(saturday). So I start to do some check up on my350z... What did I found?!... people having same problem with me!!

I realy wanna fix this NNNOW (cant wait to monday)... i'm just thinking of my Z allready tuned and I can't just not try it!

If someone have the R4 program and all what it need to fix this!
PLEASE SEND IT TO ME : thi@born2dezign.com

sumer is almost finished.....

Could your car be in limp mode? Sounds like it.

I realy dont know, it seems that some people allready have the same problem than mine on this forum, and it's solve with R4 to reprogram the ECU supplied by Vortech... I need that program to check it out.

Or mabe someone have a better idea?

Sounds like you ARE in a LIMP mode . Reset the ECU first .If it still does it after wards . Call Split Second and order the software from them . You should find some one that knows how to program it . There are settings that need to be right when you write any data to the piggyback
