You'll get ALOT of opnions about which one's to get.

I would get either a PLX-R500 or Zeitronix ZT-2 (with LCD display and all sensors).

That way you can see boost, a/f, egt, and throttle plate position. Then get a wideband, oil temp, and fuel pressure to mount in the center console 3-gauge oem places.

If you want only the necessary, I suggest boost, wideband, and oil temp.

Yeah and how much do those run?

IMO Exhaust Gas Temp. is more important than Oil Temp. in a moderately boosted car.

the zeitronix gauge i have is a a/f gauge. that is what i am using now. nice for data logging but am planning on going back to to an A-pillar gauge type so i can see it while driving.

How much does what run?

Like I said, alot of opinions about this, IMO, a wideband is a better option than A/F + EGT (since we don't have alot of space).

"PLX-R500 or Zeitronix ZT-2 (with LCD display and all sensors)"

How much do those run? Not familiar with that kind of wording

Wideband is better, hence AEM UEGO and there are others to choose from... A/F to me means a "accurate" device.

Thumbs up Defi D Gauges

Peking - Do the Defi D gauges need an external controller or does it work by itself?

Thanks everyone for ALL your input!!!

the D series do not use the controller - boost is mechanical, the rest are electronic.

These are just straight gauges though - no peak hold no play back, no warning levels.

The BF's use the control unit and have user definable warning levels, plus the ability to do real time playback - not for everyone, but useful if you have the need

Default Defi D Gauges

Hi Adam,
Do you have the Defi D Boost & EGT gauges (black face w/ amber light)? Also, the AEM wideband? How much shipped to 91789?
Thanks,
Jeff

The wide band is priced nice, but after skimming on the second product- PLX, I didn't see a price but from what is written it seems to provide the goods...

Depending on the price and feeback from those who have personally experience with these items it wouldn't be a bad choice.
