I would send back that ATI gauge pod. There have been several people that had fitment issues. Do a search and you should find some threads.

The guage pod was free with the guages, so not looking a gift hoarse in the mouth. I just don't like those crappy A pillar pods. Every little rice eating honda boy hear in Hawaii has them. Totaly stock but Got an A pillar 4 pod set with crap like volt meter, windable clock, Egt thats not hooked up, A cheapy 6" face Tach with shift light. Basicly all crap. For looks and show no function.

Also its a big thing over here to get stickers that look like shinny billet gas doors and big bumble bee mufflers.

Ok so don't send it back, but I would highly recommend a different pod or set up for 3 reasons:

1. It does not fit correctly.
2. To install it you have to drop the steering column and if you are not doing the labor that is going to cost you 3 to 4 hours at what ever rate your shop charges. Average shop charges $75 x 4 hours = $300 to install a pod
3. The finish does not match the OEM plastic.

Question Vakamon

I spoke with Vakamon today (in Honolulu) and got pricing for the installs. They said, a good estimate is $2100 for every thing from intake to exhaust and every thing between. It'll take about a week and a half.

They had some concerns about using the ATI e-manage. Any one have any feed back on it. They have only replaced it during previous instals and not try to tune with it. Tips, tricks, and recomendations are more than welcome.

ati does not use the greddy "emanage" they use the areomotive fmu to get more fuel into the motor via raising fuel pressure in relationship to boost. it is tunable but not exactly precise. no timing mods come with the kit or ways to adjust it. that can be done with a reflash or you my want the tune to be a little more on the rich side to cool down the explosion. i ran 14-15 psi with no tuning on an ati kit, but i highly do not recomend that as it was a test to see how far i could take it, and yes the motor lost, lol. your cams will add more power but will also help on detonation, because of more power. to see the full benefits of the cams you would need to do lower comp and built motor. if you need more power (outside of the cams) the ati will make more than enough power to put holes in a stock motor. luckily i wound up with only 6 bent rods and 4 broken ring lands, and i was kind of easy on it for awhile, (remember i was at 15 psi and super rich) the ati will make great power, tuned right, and make AWESOME sounds, on a stock motor, but the cams are not needed until you go with built motor to take full advantage of them. the 15psi pullies had the compressor running over the 80,000rpm max. so the reason i had to switch to turbos to get more power with lower comp ratio.
but believe me it will still turn the car into a different car. switch out the leaking surge valve that came with the ati and get an aftermarket bov and vent it atmospherically and you can hear it for a block or 2 away. sounds pretty wicked.
btw, the autometer 3 pod a pillar is what i run and the fitment is basically perfect. it appears to be a stock a pillar. you will want the gauges in your face like that to know what is going on, cause when you hit it, you can't look anywhere else but straight!!!hahaha
good luck with your project.

looked at your sig again. the coming soon parts will do nothing for you with a stock motor. and the aeromotive fmu that comes with the ati will not work with a return fuel system. if you do a return fuel system you will need to get a different fuel management system. just here to help.

My project is going to go in phases. 1st phase is what I have here, second is the fuel system and probably valves, and retainer. Last is gonna be the bottem end, better emanage, and 10 to 15 psi pulley, havn't decided on psi.

I know the ATI dosn't come with Greddy, I was just wondering what every one with the procharger is running. Looking for good pointers, and ease of use.

So is your emanage running good? The timing issue is taken care of by the safeguard, you can pull timing. and it senses will help ward off the det demons.
