Are the MT's better? Anyone use both and find a difference?

I would say your car is making close to 500whp maybe 480 on a low estimate. Congratulations. Did you mention what year G35 this is?

OH and Putfile aint puttin nadda out!
BF Goodrich are Drag Radials, ET Streets are Slicks. I used both and the ET's are ions better if you get a decent burnout. You should get the upgraded axles though at that level of power

If you're spinning 10.5 inch wide ET streets into second gear then you either need to heat them up more, drop the pressure, or both. There is no way you should be able to break those things loose when they are hot and have low air pressure. My buddy runs the same size ET streets on his 9 second Twin Turbo stang without any wheelspin issues at all...

I will lower the pressure to 14 next time.

I am having a hell of a time getting a decent burnout. I get them spinning nicely but then car either hopes forward or I start fish tailing and so I never get any real heat on them.

I have the stop light fuse disabled, rev to 5000 rpm in second gear, dump the clutch and start holding the break...maybe I should rev to 6000?

nah...you just need to get on the brake quicker...it's not easy to do...but once you get good at it...it's seamless...you also can't hammer the brake too hard since it also engages the rear brakes..making it harder to keep them spinning.

what did you run @ the track?

I only got two runs in on thursday (1/8 mile) I did a 8.4 at 92 mph (spinorama) and then a 8.3 at 92 mph (babied it too much)

I'm going on friday for 1/4 mile runs and will get quite a few runs in.

I'm very happy about the 92 mph though that shows that once I get the launch down I'll do well.

niiiice...92mph in the 1/8 should put you at least 117mph in the 1/4...and if you hook a little better I bet you'll see 93-94 in the 1/8.

yep, I can't wait till friday.

When I did 1st gear burnouts the car would just dramatically fishtail. 2nd gear burnouts made it much more stable. I'm trying to have Brainstorm install me a line lock, they are researching right now on the possibilities since there seems to be no one in the Z community that has done that (or is sharing)

Do a search.. It isn't that hard to do a line lock, but you need two solenoids and have to tap in to each front side after the Electronic brake distribution split... Or if you find room, you can do one on each side behind the wheel, but its a tight fit there....
