Default T-netics 1/4 time!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but anyway...I went to the 1/4 track today and did 4 runs. Didn't launch my car hard. No spin or bog. Just rolled it out slowly and punch it. I think if i got a little more practice, I can get it down to atleast 12.6. With a good driver it can go lower than that. I'm not good at drag racing and shift slow. Here they are:

1st: 60' = 2.31
1/4 = 13.33
MPH = 107.00

2nd: 60' = 2.28
1/4 = 13.16
MPH = 108.69

3rd: 60' = 2.21
1/4 = 13.07
MPH = 108.32

4th: 60' = 2.1
1/4 = 12.88
MPH = 107.60

Very nice runs. Did you break the tires loose in 2, 3 AND 4? Sounded like it...

I bet if you work on your 60' and got it down to 1.9-2.0. You could defintely pull a 12.5 if not lower on street tires. But aleast I got a ball park figure of what the car is capable of running in the 1/4.

Nice times.

I wonder if 11's could be possible w/ slicks, a few mods (more boost), and a perfect run!?!?

Great a post will "real world" data on a ST kit! Great times it is definitely a 11 sec car with exhaust, DR's and a good launch. With DR's alone you should get your 60ft time down to 1.8 at least. Way to go.

On another note:

Did you happen to see when full boost came in? LOL.

Sorry guys I had to do it.

With slicks 11s is easy. I'm still running with stock exhaust. Redline comes so quick that I have to shift instantly and reach the end of 4th gear right at the finished line. The tires break loose in 2, 3, and 4

LOL...Sorry...redline comes so quick that I have to keep my eyes on it, therefore didn't look at the boost gauge

Congratulations, great job!
Pretty impressive I must say
That video is real sweet...
Next time I'd rock some DRs and a nice exhaust and push for low 12's, or high 11's.
Keep up the good work!

Nice, but damn that sucks. You only trap 108mph in the 1/4. What rwhp are you?

I've seen trap times all over with this car and various kits. There was a 5AT trapping in the 11xs at BOTI. Then I saw a 6MT trapping 107-109s with the same power

Awesome!!! That's pretty much what I expect from this kit in relation to the other TN kit we've seen in the 1/4. I can't wait to get my headers out. Hopefully I'll get some slips at that point.

No offense to all that posted here, but this is NOT an 11 second car ... by any stretch. It traps 108-110 and has IRS .... good luck getting it into the 11s. A 1.5x short time will get ya there...

That said, this is a damn quick car! But it is not an 11 second Z ... there are only a few of those around these waters so far.

None taken! I know it's not in the 11s. But those that are in the 11s putting down over 400 whp at around 11 psi or 12 psi and running slicks. What I plan to get into the 11s is to get my block built, exhaust, E-ultimate to tune it, and raise the boost a bit. That's will be next year though

P.S what's IRS? Sorry for a noob question
