I want to upgrade to the 3.12 pulley on the charger, which fuel injectors do you guys recomend? Also spark plugs? and if there is anything else i need to change for safety please let me know thanks
I will be doing the same swap soon as well. Bit off topic, but anyone know what the hose that goes into the vortech supplied air filter do? Reason im asking is im looking at fabing up a custom 3.5 inch od cai that i can run down on top of the i/c. If all works out i will also weld in an inlet for a 1-1.5 inch hose so i can re circulate the bov.
its the crank case breather hose . It was hooked up to the stock intake tube . I took mine off and let it dangle and vent . But plan on hooking up a catch can first and then putting it back on the intake to the blower

So its fine to let it vent, i dont really need it back to the air filter? Sorry for the semi hi jack.

If safety is your concern. I would add a larger fuel pump and look at the injector duty cycle while tuning to make sure not not at or near max duty..RC 440cc would be sufficient. Don't wanna be at or near the point of fuel starvation...

I know people running the 2.87 pulley with stock injectores for over 10,000 miles. Tune the car properly and it is good to go.
I have the 3.12 installed on a completely stock setup. Tuned. Will have dyno results this saturday.

Having bigger injectors is always nice always a little safer, but as a few other people mentioned you can run that pulley on stock injectors. As for the spark plugs I reccomend NGK 6619 which is one stage cooler than stock. I have the plugs, pulleys, and belts in stock, if you have any questions let me know.

I'm not as concerned with hitting a boost pressure as I am with how close to 100% duty cycling are the injectors operating at with smaller pulleys..Any duty cycle data with additional mod's would be very helpful..

Yeah, if your air filter is black within a couple thousand miles of having the sc you may want to look into something, but you may also want to factor in dirt, belt dust and etc.
No fascination..here...Mines been dangling for quite a while . Im running 13.5psi now and a few other plans in the works . Thought it might be helpful to hook it back up . And if you took your plenum off and found black soot or oil in it....yes I would say there is enough blow by to get a catch can .
