Default Need FI Exhaust help

I'm stuck between the new APS 3'' true dual exhaust or the SFR 3'' HKS carbon Ti exhaust .

I currently have the Borla and thinking to just remove the resonators but I think a new 3'' exhaust is the way to go.

What are you TT guys using ?

Thanks !

If you had the APS TT, then I would just stick with APS product, since all testing is done with aps product. Since you have Greddy TT, I would recommend SFR/SSR dual 3" Carbon Titanium exhaust. IMO.. It looks much better. Both probably have similar gains. Really just depends on when your wanting to purchase. APS 3" exhaust will not be available until late Oct. for the Z and much later for the G35. The SFR exhaust you can built to order now.

I was thinking of getting one by winter, since I don't drive it then.

I was really hoping that Greddy would have they're TT exhaust out by then but doesn't look that way.

I'm not sure how the cabon Ti mufflers will look like on a black G35, I've seen pics but it always looks diffrent in person and maybe polished mufflers will look better too.

I have the 2.5 APS True Dual Exhaust and I'm loving it. It has tremendous power gains, sounds great (not too loud either) and looks just like stock.
I'd stick with APS

That's the thing, I don't want to look like stock, even my Borla is starting to get to me.I do love the deep sound and if I remove the resonators it should be a bit louder but still looks like stock though.

I'm starting to lean toward the SFR exhaust but maybe with the polished HKS mufflers.

you need to check if the polished HKS mufflers are available in 3", I believe the polished ones go up to 2.75" but I could be wrong.

Check HKS' website, it's on there.

Check HKS' website, it's on there.

It has a 75mm inlet, so that should be about 3''

now it's just deciding with wich one to go with, carbon Ti or polished ?

Polished should standout more.

That SFR exhaust is too rice looking IMO.

(Actually I think angled tips look ridiculous either way, wait for a straight tip 3" )

SFR can build the custom exhaust with a straight tip.

Is the SFR the one that "turbotim" posted up earlier? (I bought the Stillen dual because of the comparison they did a while back and have been very happy with it)
It sounds great and flows really well.

Has anyone made a custom exhaust system using 2 Blitz Nur-Spec Mufflers ?

If I go custom, it's going to be either the HKS hi-power Ti (polished) or the Blitz Nur-Spec.

PM Gman2004. He has a black TT G35C with a 3 inch dual exhaust with the polished HKS Ti mufflers. I know he made a post and posted pics and a video, but I can't find the thread right now. I'm sure he'll send u the pics and a link to the video.

The last picture is how the exhaust tips will look after the body kit is on. The car is in the body shop now and I should have it back tomorrow or Tuesday. I am not a fan of the angled tips, but there was no other way to install the huge HKS mufflers. It came out better than I thought it was going to, especially with the TS rear bumper on.

Anyone that wants a video clip of the exhaust pm me your email address.

Have any thought about an X-pipe like how american cars do it. An exhaust like very similar to Gman but in the middle get an 3 in X-Pipe.
