Default Vortech Supercharger Installation... any "rigging" involved?

What I mean by that is, do you have to shave or modify anything when installing? When I turbo'd my last car, there was def. some of that required

yea you have to cut some plastic to route the intercooler pipes. I also think that the way the power steering cooler is relocated is a "rig".

The filter that comes with the 350Z kit is a pain in the azz, especially when it comes to changing. Do a little Dremel work on the plastic covering the radiator support and perhaps a little grinding on the support just in front of the blower.

Then I would suggest ordering the filter for the G35 from Vortech. Much shorter and after doing the above, allows for quicker changing.
