Default Gauges preference??? (Vortech)

Ok I have the vortech kit installed. I currently have the defi d-gauge boost and fuel pressure. I was planning on gettin the Innovate A/f standalone, but I was wondering if the Defi EGT would suffice? I'm not going to be tuning the car myself so monitoring the a/f wouldn't really be useful after its tuned (right?).

what do you guys think?

BTW: I want the EGT gauge instead of the Innovate only because I need to save money.

EGT is'nt going to do that much for you . An A/F gauge can tell you alot more . I wouldn't run FI car with out it . And you would be hard pressed to find to many FI cars that run with out it.

I'm 99% sure you can wire the Defi A/F gauge directly to your stock O2 sensor on a 2003. In 2004.5 Nissan switched to a wideband 02 sensor so you can't hook the Defi A/F directly to it. This approx $100 gauge is alot less than a $300+ Wideband (AEM or Innovate) A/F.

Saw them here for less than $100, but I've never ordered from Intense.

There was a tread about this previously and the order of importance, but personally for Votrech I think it's

1.) Boost
2.) A/F
3.) Fuel Pressure

Yea but the Defi is a narrowband A/f ratio which is basically useless. I was debating between a Wideband a/f gauge and the defi fuel pressure.

I think EGT is the most important gauge.

Fuel Pressure or EGT. That's the question I'm faced with as well.
