You dont need to change maps when you change boost. If you tune the car all the way from vacuum to 10 psi... and you only run 5 psi most of the time, thats fine, and you turn up the boost and run 10psi, thats cool cause your tuned for it.

So i might get that one unless there is some reason not to that you guys can think of. I plan on running that with the EU. Heres a link to the boost controller if anyone wants to see it: http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/me...de=BLITZ-15061

If there is any reason this wouldnt work please let me know. Thanks
The SBC-i Color, like you said, is the color version of the SBC-Id. In terms of boost control, they are indentical. The Color version, with optional harness, allows you to datalog and view a tremendous amount of data input. It is pricey, but nice looking. The SBC non-color also datalogs.

None of these boost controllers will integrate with the EU, as the EU is not designed to control boost. Your tuner can tune it based on pressure, but the EU doesnt set on control boost. Hope that helps.

Keep in mind that the EU has a very impressive datalogger, in itself.

but do you have the option to change the mapping on any of these boost controllers if i wanted to go from a very wide range of boost, say 5-18psi. And i want to have a good a/f ratio for both boost levels and have some options in between. So is this possible to have multiple maps that can be adjusted through a boost controller? Thanks

Thanks for the help Sharif. Is there any combo of ECU and boost controller that will be able to do what i want? Or sharif since you are an insane tuner from what ive heard i trust your opinion completley, same with you phunk you seem to know what your talkin bout to what would you all reccomend to do if you plan on running a wide range of boost and want to keep a good a/f ratio through out. Thanks

K, the SBC-ID and EU will meet your needs. Your tuner can setup two different pressure based maps, for two different boost settings. You can switch on the fly if you would like. Or, you can have the tuner dial in all the pressure levels between, for instance...6psi and 10psi...and run off one map. AF ratio will be optimized throughout. You can also do auto feedback adjustment with the EU's wideband input....so ideal AF ratios will be possible across the different load sites.
