Exclamation EU tuners and users, question?

We have done allready 3 cars with the EU. All three do the same on the data logger. It's a spike like distorcion in some areas of the graph, is this the knock sensors? are the too sensitive? because I remember Sharif had taken them out for tunning. anyone else has had this on there data loogers?

From what I remember when talking to Sharif the other day, the knock sensor feature on the EU doesn't work flawlessly yet and Greddy is working on it. Maybe he can chime in and let you know.

are the spikes limited to just one or 2 functions or all the functions spike at the same time during datalogging? you should not even be able to pic the knock sensor portion for datalogging. everyone is awaiting a future upgrade from greddy to be able to read the signal.

Fito, I know what you are talking about. We observed that on a few cars, and I cant really explain it. Its a smooth chart, and then some jaggedness. At first, I thought it was knock, but its occuring at odd pleases for knock to occur. And even after backing out significant timing, or running race fuels on some cars, the static is still there. I can only chalk it up to an EU glitch, as I know is not knock related, based on the experiments I have done. The spikes are downward, so at least there is no chance of the timing accidently advancing. If I figure out anymore...I will let you know.

sHARIF this is exatly what Iam refering to.
The graphs that get jagged are usually timing, rpm, duty cycle

OH BY THE WAY, last night we took another of our 350z EU tunned stock internals and made 10.97 in the quarter mile!

You guys are fast in PR.

The EU datalogger has an extremely fast sampling rate, and it might be picking up some noise in some of the signals. I'll mention it to Kenji at Greddy when I see him a SEMA next week.
