Default The Z is dead....

My Z has the GreddyTT kit on it and it blew the motor the other day. I was running 7.5psi with 420whp and it pretty much melted two of my pistons in the car. Anyways, what i was wondering is what are some ideas i should do now? Build the motor, and if so where is a good place to have that done. Or just get it fixed and run and stock motor still? Just anyone give me some feedback on what i should do.......

Where is AAM at exzactly? I was looking at this place called ForgedInternals in North Carolina. Do they just sell parts or build Z's also? Or if anyone knows?

I would recomend building your motor... unless you want to blow it up again. AAM is good.. but I personally think that Sharif @ forged internals is THE best engine builder . tuner on the east coast. I have seen and driven some of his work. his car... 700WHP.. ping him man.. if you want it done right.

I'm pretty sure it is still 622. Gave me a ride the weekend before last when he and Eric tuned my car, then SEMA was last week, so unless Sharif worked lightning fast all weekend then I doubt it is at 700 yet

But yea, Another vote for Sharif at Forged Internals.

And just to clarify, but I think most people already know this: My company does parts sales, technical support, and tuning. Installations are handled by my partner in crime, CP Racing. But we all work together on these projects, to insure customers get the best experience possible. Together, we build engines, do minor and major installations, and all kinds of fun stuff.

Sorry to hear that, another greddy blown. What was your setup? Did you have a fuel return system or cas wire. What kind of EManage did you use. You know the detail of your setup. My brother is getting his done too. Greddy make me worry however he's getting all those extra part though,we'll see. Also make me want my car back because of Sharif 622hp car and soon to be 700hp. OMG, Wow! My vote for Sharif and his team for the build!

Before you start your engine build, you need to figure out why your motor blew. Pistons don't just melt for no reason. You either have tuning issues or some failure in your fuel system. Solve that problem first, because forged pistins melt too if the mixture if off.
