Default autometer gauges

I was looking at the autometer pro-comp gauges.

You can get an electronic 0-100 psi oil pressure gauge for $100, but the electronic 0-100 fuel pressure gauge is $215.

Is there any difference in an electronic oil vs. fuel pressure gauge? or is there just a premium because it says "fuel"

The price difference is in the type of sensor used. The oil pressure and fuel pressure sensors they include for each gauge are pretty different.

also pay attention to the ammount of sweep. Autometers full sweep gauges are twice as expensive as their 1/4 sweeps. What I mean by the sweep, is the ammount of travel the needle has. Some go maybe 90 degrees of movment and some go like 270 degrees

the price difference is prolly for the fact you may be looking at the autometer high fuel pressure gauge KIT. they include a fuel isolater that mounts underhood, then instead of fuel running to the gauge (inside the car @ 50psi) it is just water from the isolater to the gauge. pretty much a must have unless you want to try and duplicate the saying "doing 100mph with your hair on fire"!!!

It doens't. It comes with a fuel pressure sensor that you mount somewhere in the fuel system. I mounted mine on an AAM fuel pressure block adaptor. Then it runs 4 wires into the drivers compartment to a gauge that displays the pressure. If you look in this pic

On the left side of the pics immediately to the left of the vacuum hose coming out of the plenum you will see 4 wires with a white tag around them. That is the fuel pressure sensor from autometer connected to the AAM adaptor

So both were electronic, full sweep pro-comp line gauges. A pressure transducer is a pressure transducer right?

Mia, which gauges did you get? I already have boost and a/f with my zeitronix, but I wanted a regular boost gauge and a fuel pressure gauge for the pillar.

I have Autometer Carbon Fiber full sweep, boost, EGT, and fuel pressure, and regular electric oil temp and water temp

I have the Autometer Sport-Comp boost gauge with the black face and sivler bezel. It's electronic, and has a peak/warn function that is very nice for watching spikes and getting quick readings on the road. The gauge also is 15psi max, so I can actually read the boost level I'm at very precisely. I doubt I will ever be boosting over 15psi, so it's the perfect boost gauge for me.
