Default Emergency! Help!

What the hell. Girlfriend turned wheel of car while it was off until it locked up. Asked me why it wouldn't turn anymore. I go down there find out what she did. Normally it just requires extra force on the key to turn but the thing is totally locked. Key won't budge wheel won't budge. What the *** do I do? I asked if she did anything else she says no she was turning the wheel and it locked up. Nothing else. I doubt that is true. What did she *** up?

you just have to turn the wheel a little and then turn the key. I can't tell you which direction to turn the wheel so try both.

just put the key in it, and put a little pressure on it, then just kinda wiggle the wheel back and force, it should eventually unlock and turn.

Arghhhh I know I sound like an idiot. I tried the traditional unlock of turning wheel and key but that is not working. Key won't budge an inch even if I try to turn the wheel.

it probably got locked with very little room to move the wheel. put a little more *** into in when moving the wheel. then turn the key.

I let it sit for like 20 minutes and it cleared up. To clarify what the hell she was doing, I was having her turn the wheel so I could get inside the wheel well and get my hand on the oil sump under the car. She locked it and was freaking out (she's terrified of my car) and I had no idea what she did. I tried to beat on it and put some *** into the key but no luck. I guess it just "depressurized" or some such crap after 20 minutes. Bleh.. now back to turbo problems.

next time if it does it, if you jack the front end up it relieves alot of pressure and unlocking shouldn't be a problem.
