Yeah... Formula 1 and GTP no turning there.
Not to mention the 911 Turbo. Ferrari F40/50, etc, etc, etc.

I guarantee you I could take a corner faster in a NA Z. I've had my turbo Z for a while....I know the difference and I kinda miss it. The car was designed for that amount of power you can't compare stock turbo cars to aftermarket turbo cars.
You can go w/ FI very reliably, provided:
1 - You balance extra HP with better cooling , oil capacity (e.g. double-core rad, heavy-duty rad fans, extended oil pan, perhaps an oil cooler)
2 - Find a good installer whos done several Z's with the kit you go with; Get them to actually dyno-tune your car
3 - Don't try to get every last ounce of HP at the expense of reliability e.g. ensure your A/F is safe throughout the RPM/Boost spectrum and let the last 5%-10% of power go....you'll get it back on the reliability front.
My two cents.
FWIW, I had a belt break on my vortech this summer and had to run NA for 3 days until I got the new one....man the car felt like dead weight....boy did I miss the FI.

this guy > https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/153115-call-me-crazy.html brought his Z and get yourself APS'd with a custom tune. You want reliability you'll get reliability. nuff said
