Default 17 psi---wow!

i ordered a new stronger actuator from ForgeMotorsports, and in the mean time i rewired my wg shut. the previous times i wired it shut it must not have been completely sealed because i could only get 14 and it would drop. well today i hit 14.5 and was amazed. then, just to see what i would get, i punched it in 4th going around 40, it hit 17 psi , and that was only at 4000 rpms!!! my afr was 10.2. i wonder what the unichip is even doing at that level, tuan said it would not go past 12.

needless to say, i backed off instantly before i slung any parts thru the hood.

For your motor to hold together this long, it must be possessed.

17? Ouch... Are you thinking about going forged down the road ?

Anyhow, what happened with your oil issues? Did you get the parts from GRD or did you come up with a different solution?

haha, my motor must be possessed, i am surprised its lasted this long, thru the vortech, now the aps kit. too bad it was raining today and i couldnt really push it, lol.

i dont plan on going forged, unless i have to.

my oil problem is being worked thru right now. aps is giving me the run around about the pump going bad, even tho they told me the wrong was to hook it up, and they know it. hopefully it will get resolved.

Good Grief man that is outrageous but i hope your engine holds up for a little longer. But 17psi whooo my brothers rx-7 takes 15psi and it feels life a missle. But be safe hope to meet up with you guys soon.

How did your tune come out after you sent your unichip up to Tuan? I sent mine out yesterday and I'm curious what the results will be like.
