True, but many using advanced Engine management systems with the kit only no other mods are easily making well over 400 whp, It has be proven, in most cases that other engine management units are the most efficent and prosperous ways of finding true clean power!

Also keep in mind I redline at 7100rpms THANKS TO THE U-TEC!!!!!

Yes they are the same pattern of the Dc headers and alphawerks headers so they should fit great.

My DC Sports headers fit, but not well. I still had contact with the downpipe.

Also, why would the 7100 rev limiter would give you more power, the power drops off on the 278hp motor well before 7000rpms. Got a dyno sheet?

I should have my utec here shortly. I did the same thing, I was going with Greddy emanage ultimate and I felt universal application opposed to direct fitment plug and play- what could go wrong. Plus the Greddy having the coil drivers burning out on the Z was to me something to consider. The only thing is the Utec looks like DOS format which is dinosaur to the Greddy windows base format. But graffics point and click does not make the car go any faster. I feel it should be user friendly. I will be tuning it myself. I did get the MAP and AFR controller from Turboxs. Also to play it safe I purchased an EGT to view along with A/F. I did not get the knock light as I felt it was redundant since the hertz frequency from the knock sensor is datalogged.

Yes on the reflash but there will be 5 preprogrammed maps to choose from. I had a technosquare flash. It has lots to be desired. I am not satisfied. I am going with AAM reflash. I recommend MAP sensor to tune from and not the MAF. Also O2 controller that plugs directly into the unit so AFR can be datalogged according to rpm and engine load.

Well back to the original topic- I think I might go with crawford headers since they seem not to have any fitment problems. I will try a dyno with and w/out the headers. I just feel they are an expensive part to put on and for them not to work out.
