Default Oil Analysis after 13k boosted miles using Turbonetics oil!!

Attached is the oil analysis I got after 13k miles of the Turbonetics kit installed on my car. I have been using Turbonetics TS-1 oil for the last 3 changes and so far it appears to be great. I don't burn any, the engine runs smooth, no valvetrain noise, and according to the analysis even after 3,000 miles the additives in the oil were in GREAT shape. Their site says typical TBN levels (additive amount and how well they are still working) for a gas motor oil is 8 or 9. According to the report the TS-1 was still at an 11 after 3,000 miles. I guess theres a reason why Turbonetics says its one of the reasons they can offer a 12k mile warranty on all their turbos. According to Brad from Turbonetics when they performed testing on bearing longevity they found that if TS-1 was used to lubricate the bearings even once every 12k miles they found that in 99.9999% of the cases there was no bearing wear. I'm also attaching their product data sheet on their oil.

It comes in 6qt cases. Mossy is going to start carrying it now. I think Summit sells it for $46. Not sure what Mossy's price will be but it should be at least that much...

Hmm, well I have heard good things about Amsoil 10W-30 and Motul but like I said I can only speak on Mobil 1 and Royal Purple as thats all I have personally used. Mobil 1 used to burn one quart every 3,000 miles and Royal Purple gave me some loud valvetrains noises.

Now with that being said what weight are you using and does the engine seem to run a little better with the T-S1 all together.

Cool, and thanks. That is cheaper than the Castrol Syntec I just used... And I also think cheaper than the Redline I ordered and just got.

So I guess as soon as Mossy starts carrying it I will start ordering lol.

I have used a good bunch so far, honestly I cannot tell a difference... Other than change around every 3K miles and use synthetic

I'd like to get ahold of more of the Turbonetics oil. It's top notch stuff. Problem is that it's kinda hard to get ahold of the stuff.

Right now I'm using AMSOIL that I had to top off with some Mobil-1.

Well I'll call Greg over at Mossy right now and let him know how many of us are going to be ordering from him and get the exact price. Lucky for me hes right down the road so I can just get some everytime I need to change but he can certainly ship it to you as you order it. The Turbonetics forum would be done if my stupid @ss was better at Dreaweaver. Its coming. Its just taking a while for me to get the pages to look right. I don't want to keep taking it down and bringing it back up to fix crap. So I do one page and then send it to my brother the webmaster for proofing. When ones done I go to the next one. I should be done shortly.

Alright just got off the phone with Greg at Mossy. Greg will match what Summit sells it for $46 a case. He has some on the way and is going to order more soon. Its not on the webpage yet but you can call him and order it.

FYI I will have another sample going in for analysis in the next week or two. I'm going to be sending in the next few samples at the least and see how the motor and oil are holding up during some upcoming track events and dyno days.
