Default blitz sbc gain

I just installed my blitz sbc id on my turbonetics kit. I set the channels to auto and dialed in my desired psi. I also changed the configuration from actuator to wastegate. What should the gain be set to? I know a higher setting will attempt to hit the target boost sooner, but has anyone actually tested varied configs? The instructions only say about setting between 5-15 for an actuator, but suggest higher for wastegates. I'm not sure just how much higher they are suggesting.

Looking for some experience...

so 30 is working without giving any boost spikes for you? I was curious because I didnt want to set it too high and have probs.

well, on mine it isnt, i have the APS ST, not the TN. be careful, the kits are very different, i dont want you to do what i do and cause damage, just keep an eye out and set the limiter to whatever you think is needed to be safe.

Start with the gain set very low....slowly increase after each run till you get the best boost response. When you start seeing more boost then you set in auto mode you have gone to far and need to back it down... Tig I'm curious why you have yours set to wastegate, I thought it might not work right if you have an actuator and use it in wg mode...

You should be in manual mode not auto. I believe I have my gain at about 80, and my set around 18. I cant remeber, its been over am onth since I was in the car. But just start low, and gradually increase untill you find the spot you like.

my turbonetics kit hits right at the dialed in boost with a gain of 27. Just figured I'd post the update. If I go any higher, the peak boost is higher then my target.
