Default Installed SFR 3" today, Video inside..

Well we got our 3" SFR installed and have some video for you under load, keep in mind the mufflers are 3" straight Borla's and the video does no justice to how loud they are..We are having SFR send us a different set of quiet mufflers to test out also..

from 1400 to 1700 dollars i think depending on what mufflers you go with, you can check on there site to be sure and they have some other videos to check out as well of their exhausts.

We have them on our site also..Let me know if you want one were are retailers of their stuff for the East coast. It really is a nice piece of metal work..They also offer the mufflers with the straight tips like the Injen SES. It is a really good quality exhaust. They also offer a much quieter muffler we will be getting also, very soon..The Straight tips can NOT be done on the HKS carbon ti muffler..

The Borla on my site is a mid pipe back, this one is the same as the HKS Carbon Ti, but with the two Borla XR1's...dual 3" pipe all the way back

that sounds very nice! But good God you can hear that car before it even shows up by a good 15 seconds lol. That setup HAS to be very loud in person

How's the in-cabin, pretty noisy?

Nothing noticable..We jcked the car up to 18.7 psi last night for haha's and did some datalogging..At 3700rpms it was at 10.5 psi and in only 300 rpms, it shot to14.7 psi..By 5000 psi we were at 18.7 psi and slipping the clutch at about 80mph as well as breaking the rear loose...SCARY..

Dual 3" pipe all the way back for the SFR? How come on your website it says that the SFR is NOT the true dual model? HKS Carbon TI is a true dual and so is the SS right? Does anyone have sound/vid clips of the Evo2 exhaust?

Theres two different SFR borla exhausts. Ones a mid pipe back that begins from a single pipe and splits off into two XR1 mufflers. The one in the vid is SFR's true dual setup. Two single 3" piping starting from each sides downpipe that never converges with each other.

Correct..The Borla mufflers were on back order that is why we did not post the True dual on our site. The single to dual uses different mufflers..The true dual can be made to order with a variety of mufflers..

So basically you could put the Borla or the HKS mufflers on it? What other mufflers are out there that make the VQ engine sound like stock but loader? Because the HKS Carbon TI gives it a totally different sound..

Really, there is no 3" dual that will make it sound anything near stock but louder...3" dual is for a Twin turbo car and most TT owners dont really care for sounding like stock, they care about airflow..We are however getting 2 new mufflers from SFR to try on the exhaust to quiet it down a bit..

I heard Juilans car last week, and that exhaust setup is really loud, and those videos do not do justice at all.
