HKS Exhaust: $1500
Exhaust range: $850-2000

HKS Rotrex Supercharger: $5500
Rotrex Supercharger for other vehicles: $5-10k

Dont compare the HKS Rotrex to the Vortech because it is a completely different unit.
Because everyone likes to think they know the answers, when in reality they simply repeat hearsay....facts and opinions are two different things

Is the HKS twin turbo kit coming...yes

Will it be expensive - yes

Will it be worth the money - time will tell. If their past products are any indicator, yes.

JWT and APS are also nice kits...and their installs leave a lot to be desired. Perhaps HKS has addressed this issue for a neater, cleaner install....we will have to wait and see

As for the turbos, the likely choice are twin HKS 3037S units - very broad power band and good response, and they are workhorses

i disagree with all of you, just because i do...jk
this is how i see it, no engine blew up yet because of the turbo kit, but because people were boosting to high and maybe not tuned right.
You can turn up the boost on a Turbonetics kit, on the greddy or aps and make great power. This kit wont be much different than others im sure. However, Intense power made 400+whp on a greddy kit with the HKS FCON
at only 6psi..i havent seen that with the E-manage yet. HKS does things that sets them appart from different companies. Price is one of those things.

Glad HKS is making it to the party..albeit a little bit late. But if HKS includes a locked down FCON unit with this kit, most people are going to pass on it, IMHO. HKS does produce some stellar product, but they have an elitist tendancy of locking everything down.

The FCON requires a Pro Dealer to tune. That will not change. Unless its an FCON Pro I am tossing it for the UTEC (which I already have)

sorry I was away this past weekend and couldnt get online...

Yes, HKS has a TT kit as well as a ST kit in the works.

The GT3037 turbos are not what will be on the TT. The GT3037 turbo is more suited for a ST...(hint hint)

I can release more details shortly.

HKS turbos are garrett based but are not your typical Garrett turbos. HKS turbos have thier own blade design (and even number of for that matter) as well as the compressor and turbine housing designs.

Awesome! Thanks for the additional info. I'm wondering where is HKS planning on mounting the turbo in the single-turbo kit. I would think most likely it's going to resemble the APS setup rather than the turbonetics one, but this is just a shot in the dark

Keep us updated!

NICE! I can't wait to see more on both Single and Twin Turbo setups for the Z. It looks like I will be holding off on a turbo kit, yet again. When possible, post more on what will be included with each kit, supporting parts, ECU(user end tunable/or locked FCON), power outputs, turbo sizing, etc, etc...

Also, I just got a HKS Dual exhaust for the Z. Will this exhaust mate up to either HKS kit without modification?

Or, Just post up any info you can get/give...

I know they are a completely different units...one makes 320whp TOPS with a dinky IC....and the other can get up to 400whp

Their turbo kits are known to be uncomplete. For example look at their RSX kit. (HKS). More tuner friendly.
