Default Short and Long Block

Forgive my ignorance, but i keep hearing about the short block and the long block for the Z, what's the difference?

A short Block = Block, Crank, rods, and Pistons

A Long Block = Short Block + Fully assembled heads(ie: valves, valve springs, lifters, cams, etc), headgakets, and the heads installed onto the block
