im thinking its gonna be strong enough, 7 of the 9 were tq'd to spec, the other 2 i got pretty darn tight, i just didnt kill them. like i said, more than half of the thread stayed in the flywheel, so more than half of the bolt is threaded in. whats the worst thing that can happen?

Well first worse thing is me sweatin bullets every time I dump the Clutch-And second is uneven disc/pressure plate contact ---I guarantee ---It will come back to Bite You. And Iv been doin this enough years that I DO at times take the short cuts. But I know what works and what I can get away with --I like things right but Im no slave to perfection. Some people would Sh*t if they seen some of my ways. But it works ----This wont

i know the specs for the stock one, its a 2 stage process, its like 10-14, then 28-32, i was just thinking the aluminum flywheel might take less.

Now thats a possibility --- Iv installed a few but dont recall wheather Wolf sent specs. Make Dam sure ur location pin is in the right hole for the G. G and Z timing is different. So the pin can be put in 1 of 2 locations to align to the timing pickup. U said it was used !!!! Was it on a Z ? Or a G ?

it was on a G sedan, and one of the holes was filled in, it would only install one way. i did notice that it was kinda wobbly on the crank plate, but the pin was in the hole, and it wasnt warped.

i ventured into uncharted waters last year when i built my motor and ran lots of boost... it broke, rebuilt it again..finally got it right...now making over 600rwhp on a 350z...this is what we do...we don't/won't keep it simple, because simple means 220 or so wheel hp..that gets boring quick..these mods have a price, we have all decided to take the plunge, i have no regrets

haha, ok, i get your point. it all comes down to what the installer can do tomorrow. either i...

1. put the stock back on
2. retapp the JWT if they can do that
3. say **** it and let it ride, with loctite.
