Default should i be worried about a hole in my turbo?

while dropping my turbo and crap for the tranny massacre, i looked inside my turbo housing and noticed a dark spot inside on the casting, upon closer inspection i realized its a small hole. its about the size of a bb, it looks like the cast is so thin thats its starting to break down. i dont know where it goes but it looks like it goes into the chamber that the wheel is in, possible behind the wheel. i was just wondering if this will cause me problems with boost. you can see in the pic that the metal edges are coming out towards me. the smudges are from me sticking my finger in there to feel it its really a hole.

Can't be good. I wonder if that was the cause of your previous boost leaks? It's letting exhaust escape into the downpipe that should be helping spool the turbo.
