I recently gotten my car back. After driving off and shifting into 5th gear i couldn't put it in. i had to come back alittle to be able to shift into 5th. When i had my Stock clutch i could just shift all the way to the right into 5th. Does anyone have this problem after installing their clutch? Right now im F/I just installed clutch masters 8 puck and fly wheel. im not sure should i take it back or is this a problem? after driving awhile i can shift into it but kinda scared to

 

Hey Sam, can you engage 5th with the car idling and the clutch depressed? Is it the 4th to 5th shift that is the problem. Can you describe it in a little more detail. Bring it by the shop and the mechanics at CP can take a look at it if it continues to give you a problem.

 

Your shift plate/gate has been moved. Did you done some short shifter or touched the shifter? All you have to do is open it up again and try to re-align the shift gate. That might be the problem.
