Here's where the emblem project's at ...
... the guy making them is waiting on some smaller bits for his CNC mill to make a better cut. He's also refining the shape of the letters to get the same
curvature and shape as the letters in the FAIRLADYZ emblem. He sent me some paint samples and I picked the closest possible match to the silver in the FAIRLADYZ emblem. He also sent me a cast reproduction of the Z and it's beautiful. I'm dying to get these made and in everyone's hands but the guy making them is very detail oriented and wants to turn out a good emblem which I fully agree with. The most important thing for me is that everyone is happy with them and will be proud to put them on their Z's. As soon as I get more info like ETA on product and of course pics of the finished product I will post. BTW, Westpak is getting the first emblem.

I've definitely not forgotten the single turbo owners, but based on an earlier informal poll I'm allocating the first production run to fifteen TWIN TURBOZ and five TURBOZ emblems.

The emblems are going to say TWIN TURBO Z or TURBO Z like the JDM FAIRLADY Z emblem. Look back at the earlier threads for photoshopped pics and the prototype being CNC milled for a better idea.

Let me quickly add that the "Z" doesn't have to be placed since it will be seperate from TWIN & TURBO so those not wanting it can simply leave it off but I'm not doing a seperate version of the emblems without the "Z" at this time.

1st TWIN TURBO Z emblem pic!
Here is a pic of the completed prototype TWIN TURBO Z emblem just sent to me by the guy who's manufacturing them. Note it is placed in a foam jig for proper placement on the rear hatch just like the OEM emblems. It will have a self adhesive backing as well. The color is very similar to the satin-like finish on the FAIRLADY Z emblem (not the chrome version). I won't actually get the emblem in my hands for another week. Once I give it the once over to make sure it meets my final approval, them I place the order for others. It will be approximately four weeks to have the 15 TWIN TURBO Z and 5 TURBO Z made. I will place an appropriate ad in the classifieds with payment details. I'm really psyched, this thing looks awesome and that's just in a pic!
