Default Your guys' guesses on my numbers this week

Aight, so my cars been at AAM gettin the Turbonetics kit on and they are tuning it this week and getting it back to me on wed or thurs. I just wanted to see what you guys think im going to make on the dyno. We are gonna push the turbo to whatever it can give us since is a built motor.

Here is a list of my engine mods:

Turbonetics ST Kit no cat
Arias pistons
Crower billet rods
RC550cc injectors
walbro 255lph pump
AAM Maxflow Dual exhaust
Crawford Plenum
AAM Oil Pan spacer and line kit
AAM Fuel Return system
UTEC and tuner pro

So, lets hear some guesses...then when i find out this week, we'll see whos right

How are you tuning it? Do you have an eManager or UTEC? Hopefully you will hit 500rwhp by 14psi.

How much boost are you planning on running?

On this turbo I'm guessing close to 500whp @ 15psi. Then again I could be completely wrong.

I look forward to hearing the results. What day should you know?

I didn't see anything about cams or headwork so I am going to guess ~475 @ 1 bar (~14.5psi)

Let me put it this way. Modified Mags 350Z with pistons and rods ONLY 8.5:1 compression running through a stock exhaust (IIRC) at AFRs as low as 10.5:1 made 465 RWHP and 550 ft/lb of Tq at 14 PSI.

we are gonna push it to what the turbo can take really, my guess is he'll do somewhere between 16-20, if possible

What's the compression?

Better run bigger injectors if you plan on running this much boost.

The motor was being built actually for a vortech, but then i switched to the Turbonetics kit, so the compression is 9.5

With 9.5:1 compression you will actually make better power at the same boost level then the Modified Mag car. At 20 PSI you should be well into the 500s.

More then 20 PSI. The base 60-1 map shows its in its second efficiency band at 20 PSI and 600 CHP. 25 PSI is the end of its efficiency island. I think 20 PSI will get you what you are looking for. After that I'd start thinking about the T66 turbo from the Stage II kit.

I would do the T66 before you run the 60-1. You already have a built motor and UTEC so why run the 60-1 at the end of it's efficiency range. It'll be cheaper now to change it out than after you have used it. Hell there are a few people running twin 60-1's on here.
