My brother just got a motor swap for a built one. It has been .02 overbored, its got jwt cams. He is boosting 14lb. What kind of power should we see from this set up. Ill get more info soon.

what compression are the pistons?

There's a guy on here running a procharger with a built motor.. I wanna say he get's something like 513WHP but i can't find his post right now.. dunno what boost or compression he's running..

Trefling...is the guy...He made just under 500whp and I think he sprayed the IC to go way over 500whp

 

damm thats sweet...... I want to build my motor, or buy a built one....... but they are expensive and i dont no how much longer im going to keep my car..... Whats do you think ballpark figures are for a short block....... built enough to hit 14psi.

I think thats very very conservative. I'd say after install, tune etc you wil be more like 7 - 7.5k
