The FCON is like the Unichip. You have to be authorized to tune it. The only difference is even you fork up the cash you can buy the HKS software. Once it's tuned it doesn't any to be tampered with it like the factory ECU.

I was pretty much set on the UTEC, but after reading this, I dunno now. I think I may want the HKS as well....we'll see. I really like how you don't have to worry about weather changes with the FCON, and here in OK, we have LOTS of weather changes.

 

take a look at the hydra EMS. It has a good reputation and the Z version will be out soon. It is a true standalone with a lot of creature comforts as I understand it. I believe the site is www.hydraems.com

I hate to do this to you Chris cause I know you don't want to spend anymore money, but you're going to have to upgrade your injectors if you want more power. I have 750's right now. If you go with the FCON I suggest you just buy 1000's as they are the same price, but this way if you ever want more power you will have the capabilities without having to buy another set. If you sell yours for $450 it will only be like $200 out of your pockets. That's what I did with my 550's.

The FCON can scale bigger injectors unlike the Unichip and EU so don't worry about that.

 

I will bring my digital and my video camera although I have never tried downloading stuff from my video camera.

 

Sweet sweet sweet! The reason the FCON can control larger injectors, is becuase it can operate low impedence injectors. 1000CC-1200CC should be easy.

I am saeriously thinking about sending the car back at the end of the year. Mark was telling me I just need to get sleeves and upgrade the turbos and I could get in the 700 club.

 

I head out at 10 pm. When the cops come just walk inside Denny's and wait for everyone to leave. After that they don't come back, but there's still people there.
