Default Whats the current TN ST record?

Just curious who/what is the current max produced by Turbonetics kit on a stock block? ...and what addition cooling mods were required to get there (ie...water/meth injection)?

I'm just trying to get a feel for how hard I'm going to push my stock block before getting internals, and what power returns are going to be.

I am not the highest horsepower tn kit, but I have seen one g35 push 475 whp on his stock block, but he blew it this week. I think 440 is attainable, before internals and proper fuel.

Thats what I figured, but I just wanted some assurance from first hand experience before I went further. I'm going to increase my injector size, install a return kit, and adjust it with either the EU or UTEC.

Anyone else setup simliar?

I was at 450whp on the TN kit with 9.5 psi, highest ever for turbonetics.

Actually from what I understand there's a guy running 675whp on T66 with this kit. I haven't actually talked to him in person, though...

I know that 450whp is definitely not the highest this kit has put out. Did you actually end up putting it down, or was this a "projected" figure?

675 would be awesome, but i'm looking for numbers without having to build the block. Any idea what internals he had done?

D350Z10 - what did you do for safety at 450? Did it have some type of injection to cool the intake charge? Oil Cooler? Thermostat/radiator change?

Well the kit itself is capable of putting out more than your stock block can handle, you should really be asking how much the stock block can take at a certain boost level or HP, which is a bad question to ask because there is no concrete number.

Agreed, what may work or happen for another may not work or happen for you... And the main question is how long will it last to push so much on a stock block.

Also if you have never experience more than 100 extra WHP on a Z, maybe you should wait for that then decide if you are willing to commit to getting more.

I have the Tnetics kit, + the additions listed in my sig. I'm running just over 400 to the wheels at 9 PSI.

F/I is always a crap-shoot, but I feel comfortable at this level on stock internals for now. A proper tune is of course key to keeping internals....internal, if you know what I mean.
