Default UTEC and boost control

Anyone figure this out for the APS with UTEC yet?
Its been a frustrating experience. Alot of promises with the UTEC but so far no delivery. My cars been with a certified UTEC tuner for a total of 6 weeks now;and all I have is one workable map at 6 psi. Its an incredibly smooth ride now at 398 rwhp but I wish the boost control can work.

I know there has been reports by MRC that they connected the UTEC to the APS solenoid, but they never got it to work. My tuner used the DTEC solenoid for the STI WRX but this is giving inconsistent boost.

HELP! I want my car to work...I only have 4000 miles on it and I've had it for over a year. All this modifying has been a frustrating experience, trying to find that perfect ride.

I have this, but haven't installed it yet, does it work in conjunction with the map selector, in other words, when you change the maps, will UTEC control/change the boost for each map?

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I am very concerned about this upgrade, thanks

I used a GM solenoid and UTEC with map selection for boost control of my TN kit. I dont see why it wouldnt work for the APS TT.
I know that Julian used the APS solenoid with the UTEC to control boost with the APS TT.

Last time I talked to Julian he told me that he never got the APS solenoid to work with the UTEC. Has that changed?

Anyone have anymore info on the GM solenoid? Part numbers? Where to buy?

GM part# 1997152 Any shop should be able to get it for you.

There is a thread on here somewhere where he posted about getting it to work. It was a while ago.
