Its not too bad. So far its the only tire I've used on boost so I don't have a good comparison. I'm switching to BFG KDW2s soon for cost reasons so we'll see.

MIA, will the nav cubby door close with the gauges installed? I think my Defi gauges have a slightly thicker trim ring than the Autometer ones. Any idea on how much clearance you have?

Nah ... I couldn't get the right fit on the gauges with the CF panel and the door closing ... I don't think he minds it though

So with these installed, you are saying that the door will have to stay open at all times. I wonder how difficult it would be to have someone fabricate a piece that completely covers the cubby.

I could have done it. It would have req'd a lil more trimming, patience and some more time ... that which we did not have at 4am the day before the SportZ Mag Turbo shootout

Exactly. Its about 2 hours of Dremeling away from being able to close. I just haven't really cared enough to look at it. I keep it open all the time anyways.

S03s are HORRIBLE for straight line traction. You'll be amazed at how well the KDW2's hook compared to the S03s. I drove GRD's shop car with just over 500whp on 285-35-19 KDW2s and in warm weather it gets 80-90% traction in first and full traction in second. Not quite as good as the DRs on my car...but it's a street tire that will actually last a while and can be driven in the rain.

I think you'll be plesantly surprised.

Wow, thanks for that info BriGuy. I mean the S03s were OK for a tire. I'm now very anxious to get these BFGs on the car.
