Exclamation PERRIN boost solenoid, how does it work?

How does the UTEC and the PERRIN work together, need some clarification. As you change through the map selector does UTEC subsequently change the boost for each map, for instance if my 1st map is at 7 psi, and my 2nd map is at 9.5 psi, does UTEC throught the PERRIN change the boost?

IF you have this set-up, chime in, please, or if you know or are a tuner any input will be greatly appreciated....

yes, you program different boost maps. The boost maps control the solenoid which is opening/closing the WG.
I used a simple GM solenoid. I was going to get the PERRIN but I was told that they were no better than the GM.

i think they are also GM selenoids or very similar.

I used it in another car and it just works like any ebc selenoid. You just have to connect the system together and tune your boost map to your desired boost values for each different map u use. It would nice to lower the boost 1-2 psi after 6400 to keep it safe.
