Default Boost problem or 5AT problem?

I am experiencing what feels like my transmission slipping. The only problem is that I am not building boost either. I have a Vortech w/ 375-400 whp. Would the slipping tranny cause the boost issue because of no load on the motor? I figure I would still get a little boost. It happens in every gear.

Basically it changes gears just fine and doesn't fall out of gear, but when I punch it, it revs to redline like normal without any boost or any excelleration.

Any ideas? Also, while we are on the subject, are clutch packs available for our cars yet? Would I have to send out my tranny or can I order parts through a local transmission builder?

Both, (tranny failure) .My car has the same symptoms, then few miles later my 3 and 4 clutches are gone. I just bought new tranny from my local dealer to keep me going until somebody comes with the real deal (You can not buy just parts ) . I can not wait for somebody to come up with the real solution to this problem. NO BODY! not even SGP know exactly when it will happen. I called SGP last week to ask them about there tranny upgrade and they told me that is going to be 6 more months, that is the same answer I got about 4 months ago when they first posted (full tranny upgrade) at there website. In the mean time try to not boost the car to much, hopefully some we will come up with a tranny upgrade capable of 400+ HP. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

It maybe a possibility that your Bypass valve isnt closing . Or can you actually feel the tranny slipping ?

Now that you say that, I dont remember hearing it shut. I'll check the bypass when I get home today. It's been parked for a while and it was dark when I got it out lastnight.

Good to hear you got it figured out . Wouldnt think it would have been the tranny if the car had been sitting for a while and it was fine before
