why wouldnt it? the vortech will keep blowing untill you let off, but building a motor that rev to 8K, alot of $$$$$ and not worth it IMO

the vortech will have a recommended max rpm. need to call vortech and figure out their max impellor speed, then figure based on the size of pullies you have, to see if it is safe.

yeah it all depends on what pulley you use on the vortech. I think the 2.87 pulley is right on the edge of hurting the blower if not slightly over the 50,000 rpm specification @ 6600.

That might be part of the slow up for vortech releasing the kit for the rev up engine and the 7100 rpm redline. I'm almost willing to bet they use a bigger pulley for the rev up engine.

With heavy duty bearings , The Blower can be spun well passed the 50,000 rpms

ya, from memory the ati was safe below 80,000rpm according to ati. i was spinning it at 95,000 without problems though.

yeah but the ati was designed to spin faster than the vortech because it's a smaller impeller blade
