I got my car retuned, after the gasket SNAFU...Made decent power, have a ??? or 2
Ok, I decided to tune my car at 9.5 psi, but ended up just getting a tune at 8.2 psi. I made 398 whp and 401 wtq, not that bad the extra torque is awesome, I love it. My question is on the way home, my friend called a guy with a bike and we ran a few times, the car pulled great all the way through 5th around 150 or so, not sure exactly, but anyway, after the last run the car's clutch hit the floor, flipped me out a little. After pulling over, I thought I melted the clutch line or something, but my friend lifted the clutch back up and it has worked flawlessly since, what would have caused this to happen? By the way , the tranny is in great shape, all gears work, the clutch is great now, and I have an upgraded stainless steel line going on the car this week, should I be concerned about anything?
BTW, I have a JWT clutch and flywheel w/ less than 3500 miles on it, so I doubt it is slippeage, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Side Bar the bike killed me from a 80 roll, it was by like 4 cars. At a 90 roll, I got beat by 2 cars and from a 95 roll, dead even until 140, and I put .5 car on him by 150. I did get a video, but I will post it as soon as I figure it out.
BTW, I have a JWT clutch and flywheel w/ less than 3500 miles on it, so I doubt it is slippeage, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Its quite simple. You boiled your clutch fluid. We have a hydraulic clutch system in this car which uses standard brake fluid as the conduit and the line is right next to the drivers side header. With the added heat from the turbo kit and the standard line and factory fluid its easy to boil. I did this during a track session once. If you get a nice SS braided and heat shielded line, wrap it again and flush in some high temp brake fluid it'll never happen again. Hasn't happend to me again yet. Links:

There are two - Count them 2 brake fluids to use. AP-600 and Motul 600
This is from the AP Brake web site. The Motul 600 has a few degree edge on the AP-600 - probably the exposure to the air of dumping the Motul into the AP-600 container..
