Heres the whole story....long
Guys theres always 2 sides to a story.
Dave i am surprised at your post, i never said i was charging your cc.
Second your motor gave way before Christmas and all the shipping companies were booked, i even tried sending one of my guys out to pick it up but the trailer became the issue.
I worked with you on the pricing the whole way through and gave you a good deal and now you call me shady.
As for the spare parts you asked for, APS does not have all of the pricing for the parts you need, and i emailed you about that also and told you it would take time.
As for the issue with the block being bad you told me you have to be as close to $6000 or your wife would divorce you!! So we worked out the deal on the core. You even told Sam you wanted him to inspect your block at GT.
Also how would Sam inspect it without having the block there??
You think i would spend $100 on shipping a junk block??
The rod that gave way on your block came out of the bottom, so your core had a chance of being ok.
Alll in all David i worked with you from covering some of the shipping, pricing and please tell me what shop would not charge you a core or let it go??
I have been fair and am sorry you had an accident and have all these issues now. I emailed you about the block over a month ago, when i read about your accident i did not feel the urgency to bother you and felt you had some other issues to contend with.

Im sorry to hear of all your issues, I def feel your pain having gone through many issues like this (luckily not in the Z). Let me ask you a Q-and Kelly, this is not to stir things up or start a war I just want clarification.
If I understood this correctly-->
APS basically didnt want to help AAM diagnose the issue?
The issue originally that you received a fix to after an 800 mile drive to GRD was an electric solenoid? If so can you please explain what this is.
If the above is true Id be very upset at APS for playing these games with me. I understand he probobly has "preffered" tuners but why make somebody go through the hassle of driving 800 miles for a part like that? Why didnt he just have AAM look into that. IMO thats shady business on APS' part. Again-this is NOT an insult towards GRD or APS, I just want to make sure Im getting everything here....

Not to mention you worked on my car at your leisure.Im not going to even bring up the phone call i got from Earl about pilot bearing just to save you the embaressement.I was actually kind in alot of my post in alot of things.

I believe they are fixing my car and the enitre aps system will be gone.Im glad to be parting ways.
Dave your car actually was tuned here in November, and you were deciding on shipping it here or going elsewhere, so add a few weeks to that. And you are saying i have issues with memory??
As for the core i called you numerous times and your mailbox was full. I emailed you a few times. Earl started calling you. And i am sorry you feel this way but ordering replacement parts has nothing to do with your core, check your email i sent emails a long time ago.
How much are we to charge for a short block replacement and reinstall of the turbo kit??? 2 hours
And how much did the motor cost??? your totally off.
Dave there is a proper way to handle an issue and this is not the way. If you feel so strongly about all the problems why bring them up months later and tell us everything is great. I understand you and your car have gone through a lot in the last few weeks, but we have always been courteous and worked whatever issues about pricing, shipping, core and all with you. The fact that you want to part ways and bash someone is your decision.
My only mistake was not charging you a core charge and i will have to deal with it. I did not even attempt to charge your cc, i was asking you the best way to resolve it. Also how many shops would take a core without charging, it doesn't make sense.
And i think $6500 for a motor build, install, and tune is more than fair. Yes you could of had it done locally but you decided to bring it here, and you still were at $6500.

Irshod to be honest I think you guys cut me loose to a certain extent.I think you took no responsability on engine at all.I know everyong likes to make money but considering you were they last to tune the car.It ran fine for 2k and the way up to you besides the smokescreens of corse.
My shop, I would done the build for my cost. I know you take chances with FI but all things considered thats what I would have done. I know the deal we had on the core. Im not beating a dead horse anymore.
