lots of people have asked me when the z started coming from the factory with a tt. everyone has liked it alot

 

I had to get the rear hatch repainted and the body shop called Nissan asking about a replacement.....they thought the TTZ was a factory emblem. Nothing but compliments so far.

 

When will we be seeing the Supercharged emblems in the mail?? Thanks

 

Well I am losing challengers, guys come flying up on my rear end and then just back off also have had people say "I didn't know they came with Twin Turbo" nice job Greg.

 

me too.. but sometimes its a blessing... weeding out the best of the bunch... but then again it does bring on the "i wanna see you take off / i still wanna race you" crew

At this time, still looking at end of July. It's in the design process still and I've seen a rough CAD rendering which was sent to show me where the attaching tabs to hold the letters together will be placed. I'll post on the original thread when I get anything more definitive. Remember: it took almost three months for the TWIN TURBO Z emblems to get designed and made; I was told the SUPERCHARGED Z emblems won't take as long but it was still going to be about six weeks.

 

Many thanks to all of you that pre-paid and waited patiently for these emblems to be realized. Only 15 were pre-sold and made and I have no extras at this time. I will be getting all of these shipped out on Saturday 7-29-06 USPS Priority Mail and you should receive them in 3~4 days. I do have extra TWIN TURBO Z emblems available and those that have pre-paid will be getting theirs shipped out as well. One thing I want to stress when applying these emblems is that although they come pre-mounted in a jig for ease of application, there is some "play" built into how the emblem sits in it and it would be a very good idea to eyeball it real good before applying so there is a lesser chance of getting either "SUPER" or "CHARGED" or the Z crooked because the self-adhesive backing is very aggressive. Anyway, enjoy and please post pics when you get the chance.

I LOL'd.. I only have the 'Turbo' emblem but there was a time when people would see the car (pictured below) and folks would want to take a stab at it. Now I have a collection of SRTs, STi's, Cobras, etc. that fly up from behind, then chill out once they get within reading distance.
Kindof sad, really, because I miss the 'gotcha' days

There are a number of times that someone will catch me in the Home Depot or Chevron parking lot and admire the 'new turbo' from Nissan.

The lamest encounter had to be when I went to the dealership a couple weeks ago to pick up a new inner fender. The salesboys were out there as usual fanning themselves over the car when one of them said, "Oh yeah - the turbo Z - we're getting a few in, also." Fortunately, their service department isn't as 'touched' in the head.

 

Very nice work Greg! The supercharged emblem far exceeds my expectations. I can't wait to install it on my Z. I'll for sure send pictures. I was going to put the 'Supercharged' on the right and leave the 350Z on the left but now after looking at some of the TT emblem placement, I can't decide! Again, outstanding job and your contribution to the Z community is priceless.

 

Is there an ETA for more twin turbo badges?
