The greddy isn't 2.5" dual - I would tackle the dump pipe because that is the most criticle point of the exhaust.

I believe it is 60mm piping with the crossover section being 70mm -

60 mm = 2.36"
70 mm = 2.75"

thats what i have, i bought a JIC magic Ti, cut the resonator out and had a piece of 3" welded in its place, sounds mean and shoots fire!

i think the greddy is a single to a dual chamber dual tip muffler, its small. the aps comes from your single dp and splits into 2 pipes there and is dual all the way out.

Heres Some Pics

Notice how loose the hose is where the adapter connects, that is the hose that comes from the plenum. Then there is the hose coming from the turbo going to the boost solonoid.

Oh, that's nice! Glad to see it may be something simple.

On another note, I tried to get my car in there for this Friday to get some minor things fixed that were not done right and to get the car tuned on Friday and I got an email back from Dan today saying that he couldn't tune my car Friday because he was tuning yours along with 2 rx-7's. He told me Saturday. Now I see that you're getting your car tuned on Saturday instead of Friday? Why would he tell me to come by Saturday and not Friday if you're going to be there Saturday?

I would at the least think of a larger exhaust...Do you have the T66 or 62-1? 15 PSI on a T66 would get you roughly 550 WHP with a normal exhaust and basic motor build so you aren't far off...

I have a T66 turbo, but I believe the plenum hose has alot to do with the car not making that much power past 15psi... I m gonna get it all fixed and get a report back no later than monday evening.

Hey Mike, who do you think? Dil has stock head and cams. In addition to the rods, pistons, sleeves, etc., I have JWT cam set up with a 5 angle valve job, and ported/polished heads. Also, have dual 3 inch exhaust with wastegate dumps to compliment everything else. The heads/cams and dumps are going to net me more power. Just my 2 cents.

I was there for Dil's tune. I was actually expecting him to put down 50-75 more rwhp than he did. He may be having issues with leaks and too restrictive exhaust though so maybe he can pick up some more power by trouble shooting it.

I'm looking for around 500-525 rwhp daily driving and 600-625 weekend/race map. These will be on sunoco 94 pump gas. Anyway, we'll kinow soon enough cuz my car goes in Sat for tune.

i'd say it's ur exhaust system holding you back at this point. have you tried running a 3 inch dp open? if the problem goes away it may be ur issue.
