i hope you dont have any problems. do your pistons look like my old ones or do they have a better skirt? maybe JE came out with a new design... the pistons i had were from 2003 but still only had 8k miles.

at the time they were the only ones available
btw sorry to hear bout your motor
Those are some shocking photos. When your dad informed me the underside of the piston can cracked, I didnt realize the entire skirt had cracked off!!!
The Arias Extreme Duty pistons you installed will serve you very well...no worries.

the thing is.. the build date on my pistons were from 2003.. these were prototype pistons made for Nissan Motorsports.. we've been camping on these in preparation of my motor blowing, but it never happened, so i'm just putting them in now along with some more parts.....
well. i'm sure you're gonna be just fine with the arias pistons..

yea im bout done breaking the motor in
Its all about cylinder pressure..
More comp and less boost can give similar cylinder prerssure to less comp and more boost.
FYI our motor is getting built with 11.5:1 and a fair bit of boost

i don't know if you know this, but you can special order pistons for almost any motor in almost any compression ratio...........it takes about 5 mins to call someone like Race Engineering who can set that up with almost any piston manufacturer.
