Strike revisited
Yup.
I am in the importing business in Canada and our west coast ports are going on strike as well. Soooo, that means that our cars will be sitting in Cali and Vancouver until the strike is over I guess.

ZISME!!!! East Coast Ports
ZISME can you confirm that Nissan still ships to the East Coast by ocean going boat specifically yo Jacksonville? I know Nissan did in the past but am not sure thats still true. Please advise.

I'd be happy to come onboard and help engineer a solution for Nissan to ensure that they can deliver all of our cars on schedule -- strike or no strike!

dvlad you never fail to amaze me with your inane comments. Having belonged to a union (proudly for 33 years) and not being a communist I take exception to your off the cuff comments.

Just kidding, all in good fun. Everything has its good side and its bad side. Without unions many would be poorer and badly treated at work.
Any word on the East Coast ports? Any strikes going on over here?

so will the strike affects the preorderers in vancouver?
one annoying thing about canada is the union has too much right that they strike again and again, toronto strike on garbage collection, pilot strike, teacher strike, they just can't get over it~
