Looking to remove the factory oil cooler and install your own..look here
An inner cooler is any device that cools or heats liguid or air generally by the use of fins or tubes or vanes ---to clearify---Henceforth we refer to RADIATOR--OILCOOLER--( which we will now consider the Z NOT to have)--POWERSTEERING COOLER--FI INNERCOOLER (If u have one) and AC CONDENSER---Disregard all of the above EXCEPT OILCOOLER ( Which u have to buy because there is NOT one on the Z)
Then the only thing u have to consider is getting the oil to the cooler and back in to the engine. That is the crux of the discussion.
Frankly for simplicity less u live in one cold A$$ Climate all u need is a sandwhiche of appropriate size and thread design to gey that oil from point A (Engine) to point B(into the above mentioned COOLER) to point C ( back in the Motor)
And even a cold A$$ climate---Hel ur not racing then---go to a thinner oil and a little warmup time
Fact is ,Id opt to just get rid of the stock """OIL COOLER""" intall a sandwiche adapter and go to the NEW COOLER
When u intall a Auto Trans Cooler---I personally just bypass the radiator and go straight to the NEW COOLER---Its unlikely ur oil will ever be too cold.

If there is such a thing that would be wonderful. All Im saying is, Lets not overengineer when and if it is not nessasary.Overengineering generally leads to down time wheather its a factory or a car

Radiator, ok, I buy it. Oil cooler, ok, correct. Even heat exchanger. Intercooler? Come on, you know better.
If English is your second language, ok. But don't order an intercooler via telephone and expect that oil cooler in the picture you posted to show up.

You know what we are talking about, call it a blumocraptor if it makes you feel better.....it still is the same thing, a device that gets hooked in between the feeding lines that cools something flowing through it...in this case oil

mrtomcat: Hey, you made a mistake, try to be at least secure enough about yourself to admit it, instead of insisting that you are correct.
What I was trying to do was provide the man with the correct term so that if he did go to get the device, he didn't ask for a sandwich plate to run oil lines to his intercooler. At least he could use the correct term so they don't die laughing at him for not knowing the difference.
