Yea, unfortunately. Im gonna do it around 6 or 7 and just stay up all night. That way it wont be too hot. Ive already got all my parts/matls and extras of fuel line, clamps, wires, etc. Hopefully it will go smothly. Thanks! I will post hella pics when Its all done

The Vortech tunrer kit is the full kit minus the external fuel pump, the Split second box, essentially it is just the blower, the bracket, and the FMIC w/piping. You, the tuner, provide the fuel system, the EMS, hence the name.

You can get ANY of the tuner kits, be that TN, vortech, whatever, add this and you're set.

There have been instances when Vortech owners had weird noise at idle. Raising it to 800-1000 solved the issue. This is one of the UTEC functions, so you will not do EVER flash the ECU.
Can you enlighten me about how to raise the idle w/ utec??

I was under an impression that idle adjustment is one of the UTEC's functions.

I just went to TXS's page to check for myself. I was mis-informed. It is the rev limit that it controls...
Then the re-flash is inevitable if the idle is to be raised...

there is no way other than reflashing the ECU for 2004.5+ cars ain't it?
