has anybody gotten the stillen supercharger yet?....if so, how is it so far?......hood mod necessary?.......plusses, minuses?.....i heard 70-90 HP was expected.....did you get this much?........thanks

The Stillen SC is still 4 to 8 weeks out. i spoke with them today and they are saying HP gains are around 80-90. The hood will be a must have, and it will cost about $600. There car with most of the upcomming mods is being tested by a popular magazine right now. There should be a review on it next month.

stillen is also offering a hood 'mod' a little scoop to put on the stock hod that can face forward or back. That way you can keep the stock hood and cut a hole in it. But i think i would rather not cut up the hood and buy a new one.

Don't you also lose the strut tower brace with the Stillen?

Hopefully there will be a centrifugal Option, like a Vortech, which might have more placement options, but with less low end torque.
