Still waiting on a few gauges... a few weird spots on the plenum after polishing... not really noticable. The guy said it was due to the plenum material/ or what was used when it was casted... no complaints....

nice -

but I would rather see charts or vids than a polished plenum . Curious, why an oil pressure gauge?

thanks for the insight, but why not let synth answer

to elaborate, we have a fully functional OEM oil pressure gauge. Buying an aftermarket one seems a bit reduntant. Especially when there is a plethora of other gauges that could provide better, more usable insight into what is going on with the car

Maybe he's planning on replacing them in the center console. I'm guessing "Turbo" is a boost gauge. In that case, I only see two gauges, so I have no clue...

The plenum looks nice. Good job!

Correct! I'm replacing the entire center pod. Since guage 1 & 2 are on the same board, I had no choice but to get rid of the stock oil pressure. Also, I wanted a unifom look... Gauges will be boost (labeled as "turbo"), oil pressure, and oil temp (when that arrives). On the dash (left side of steering wheel) will be the wideband (innovate).

The man is from Chitown, he has a plan, that is without fault, so let us wait for the installed update. BTW, the plenum looks nice.

^ Yeah, a guy close to me does them.... PM me if you are interested. He charged me $175. I thought it was a pretty competitive price, I've seen prices ranging from $150-$275. The turn around time was 2 days.

Even though we have an oil pressure gauge, OEM gauges have never been known to be extremely accurate.

expensive? hardly! See this thread:

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....highlight=saga
The Saga Gauges come in White or Amber Face! Let’s break it down, this is what I was going to go with: Boost, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure (will replace stock gauges with these).

Saga 2.0 (from 500whp.com)
Boost…………$175
Temp………….$95
Oil Pressure….. $185
Control Unit……N/A
Shipping:………FREE
TOTAL……..$455 SHIPPED

Now let’s compare with Defi’s BF Series (egauges.com)

Boost…………$230.40
Temp………….$201.60
Oil Pressure….. $269.10
Control Unit……$97.75
Shipping………..FREE
TOTAL……..$798.85

DIFFERENCE of $343.85 that can go into a wideband.
