I have wondered that too.

As far as the M90 on the curent setup I thought that was what Stillen was doing. It has to be as tall as it is now because of the intercooler under the blower. There was an interview with someone from Stillen some time back and he said they tried the design with a kit that would fit under the stock hood but it would not fit the IC, needed new injectors (because the 7th did not have time to mix-in), and some other stuff. I wish they would make the M90 for the current kit. I have told Sam that I would be happy to be the test car for it...

Yeah there are more than one brand of all the other FI kits, I wish there was another roots style since Stillen has decided not to do the M90.

I'd prefer twin screw, but roots is great for street use. im sure w/ enough money, anyone can custom fabricate the M90 on top of the VQ motor since its a V style motor anyway. Use of a greddy IC, custom piping which is pretty cheap if the shop knows how isnt too hard. The hard part i'd guess is mounting the M90 on top of the VQ while using ahalfway decent hood. Something like the Do-luck hood. Nothing like the transformer style stillen hood. Bah this sucks.

It is a twin-screw roots blower.

Thats excellent.. i'd still prefer a whipple or something like that cause i'd rather NOT deal w/ stealin lol. Good news though. It should give the TN guys a run, perhaps not for their money, but still a good run. TN kit is a great comparison kit vs a M92 eaton supercharger kit.

Stillen has a few hood options... the cowl (the one I have) isnt TERRIBLE... but its not the greatest either... acutally if the cowl was functional or had a front vent for cooling it would be great.

There is a 1.7 liter Autorotor on Ebay being auctioned off right now:

I got the first one, so there will be a true Screwcharger coming to a VQ near you.
